A cover image represents the article in places such as the blog listing. Use an image you have permission to publish and check how the cover is cropped in the preview.
Add images inside the article
Place the cursor where an image should appear and use the Image toolbar button. Add a useful description that explains the image to readers who cannot see it. Keep images relevant to the surrounding text.
Check both placements
Save the draft, inspect the preview, and publish when ready. Open the live article and blog listing to check the inline image and cover separately. If an image is missing, check its upload and the saved field before reporting the affected page.
